Sorry, no proper post today.
Why? Because settlement has finally gone through on our house.
Meaning? Steve and I are now officially Digital Nomads.
So? We're out relaxing for the day (or at least, hopefully, not sorting, packing or thinking about anything related to business).
A new post should be up soon.
In the meantime, please feel free to celebrate with us.
Wow. So exciting, and I must say, so brave of you guys. It takes a lot of courage to do what you are doing. It will be interesting to note your stress levels over the next few months. Do they go down due to the fact you are now free of most material concerns? If/when the stress levels go down, then are you far happier and healthier than you were before? There is a lot to be said for opting out of our "traditional" modern lifestyle, it just takes a lot of courage to do it. :)

It certainly has been an interesting journey getting us to this point, but I also have to add that for some people living a conventional life is harder than it is for others. Therefore it also means, that for some, doing things out of the ordinary also comes easier. Let's just hope we made the right decision :-)
ReplyDeleteI must say that whilst we still seem to be transitioning, mentally and emotionally, I have noticed that both Steve and I are smiling more and are more relaxed - which certainly can't be a bad thing - and the lack of regular bills hasn't even hit us yet.
